After graduating from college, Brandon learns that a degree doesn't necessarily mean instant success. Educated but broke, he's forced to return home to the hood, and finds that his best friend, DJ, has become one of the biggest drug lords in Dallas. The desire for the better things in life, and the encouragement of his old friend, prove to much for Brandon, and he soon finds himself caught up in the streets. But while still torn between his lust for money and a desire to become a legitimate businessman, Brandon meets the woman of his dreams. But even if he decides to start play it straight, will his past come back to haunt him?
