Bermuda: a 22-mile stretch of islands stranded in the North Atlantic, surrounded by turquoise waters and only 2 miles wide at its widest point. Bermuda's isolation has become part of its appeal, yet the influences of Britain and America have become part of its identity and culture. The natural beauty of wide sandy beaches and idyllic parishes is complemented by a thriving economy based on international finance and a history which spans the Atlantic. Combined with an introduction by Madeleine Greey, Donald Nausbaum's photographs reveal this diversity in all the vibrant colours which fill this tiny nation.
