In the past ten years there has been a shift in the field of anthropology towards working with and studying organisations. "Anthropologists Inside Organisations" addresses this need by bringing together seven diverse case studies based in/on South Asian countries, analysing how anthropologists have negotiated issues that arise from interacting with organisations. This book emphasises methodology and fresh empirical research. It also provides rich and detailed examples of how different researchers have managed to work within constraints imposed by organizations.
