The year is 1999, and the final resting place of Arthur Pendragon, king of the Britons, is found. But as it turns out, it isnat final after all Arthur is revived to learn that he is no longer king, and mankind is just as barbaric as in his day, only in a larger, more horrifying manner. He finds love with a young Irish lass named Samantha Murphy and a career teaching about his day and age at a local college. He discovers great joys and great sorrows while occasionally falling back into his memories of a time long past.
