During a concert at a Metropolis park, shock jock Leslie Willis is struck by lightning. When she awakes, she has gained the power to control electricity . . . and an even greater hatred of Superman. Soon, the newly named Livewire sends shockwaves throughout the city and threatens the lives of Metropolis citizens. Only Superman can stop this electric lady.
