Jake and Cloe: Rainy Days Are Special is an underwater tale of two siblings who share a difference of opinion about the rain. Jake, who is a tadpole, looks forward to the rain, as it is the only time he can see a rainbow. His pollywog sister Cloe, along with all of the other tadpoles and pollywogs, is frightened of the rain and the sounds that it makes. With color illustrations throughout, Jake and Cloe shows young readers that it is okay to be different and that taking chances can pay off in the end.
