Conference proceedings from New Developments on Metallurgy and Applications of High Strength Steels that took place on May 26-28, 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This conference provided a forum for researchers, producers and users to discuss the state of the art and future possibilities of high strength steel development and applications. Members of leading market sectors that demand HSS such as Automotive, Mechanics, Oil & Gas and Energy production and transmission were welcomed to present their current and principally their future requirements.
