Frank Lacy, a widower living in a mountain villa, rescues an aging actress, Jean Larsen, from a plane crash in the mountains and takes her to his villa. They are snowbound and without communication to the outside world. They share an adventure coping with their situation, discovering one another's beliefs, personalities and desires for the future. Venturing out into the mountains as it blossoms into spring, they open their hearts and minds to each other, while finding a new lease on life. They are aided by a small mountain town of caring friends, until they find that it's never too late to find love and happiness, as they walk together into their future.
