重新看了一遍P教授这本书..真佩服。生活里这些惯常的mundane matters 写的这么生动...每个包工头都应该读一遍。。

佩服Michael Pollan每一本书里身体力行的精神。

Compared to his better known work, this is quiet, more of a book for himself: how cool it is to build one's own study out of scratch, learn the craft of carpentry, and write about the evolution of architecture. A sound convincing critique of modernistic trend in architecture that has become increasingly distant from the fundamentals of building.
