作者野心太大，涉及面太广，从classics到通俗文学，从批评理论到临床治疗，从文学到各种媒介都讲了一遍，很多地方不够深入。但是对具体文本的分析和关于Cultural Trauma Theory如何形成的第一个导言还是很值得一看。
