This book investigates the current state of religion and offers insights into the growing phenomena of the 'spiritual but not religious' individual. While many people identify themselves with a fundamentalist brand of religion, and a sizable minority has rejected religion altogether, there is a vast middle ground occupied by people who describe themselves as 'spiritual but not religious'.
