Jörg Müller的《The Bear Who Wanted to Be a Bear（森林大熊）》就是根据这个改编的。虽然故事内容差不多，不过这个原版有首尾呼应（前面后面都出现了大雁和落叶）。绘本关键就是“绘”字。Jörg Müller版中在一面上表现三个大小变化的连续画面，表现了现代社会等级森严的阶级差异。而在原版中却是每个房间额外一面，失去了对比而造成的冲击力。此处细节上，原版较为滑稽。 P.S. 原版是黑白的。
