译者但汉松，1979年生于湖北咸宁，文学博士，现任职于南京大学英文系，业余从事文学翻译和书评写作，译有托马斯•品钦《性本恶》，书评散见于《书城》《南方周末》《三联生活周刊》等媒体，目前主要为《纽约时报中文网》从事“读读小说”专栏的写作。
