費爾南·布羅代爾（Fernand Braudel），史學大師，20世紀最偉大的曆史學傢之一，法國年鑒學派的靈魂人物，曾獲牛津、劍橋、芝加哥等多所知名大學頒授的榮譽博士學位，並於1984年當選為法蘭西學院院士。

他終生緻力於文明史的研究，以其宏大的視野、淵博的學識、精闢的見解、明快的文筆、齣色的綜閤纔能，在國際史學界享有盛名，被贊譽為“曆史學傢的曆史學傢”。

短评里说了，年鉴学派废话啰嗦，从环境到地理到气候、道路等等说了一大堆，我感觉都可以用简单的彩色地图或者表格等来表示，下面加点说明，应该比这些翻译的咯咯蹦蹦的好到十倍都不止，简单易懂的说明了问题。包括他讲到的造船而砍伐的树木问题，几张图就好了呀，絮絮叨叨说了...

商务的汉译名著珍藏本再版了，２１０元，估计淘宝上有吧～我刚在实体店买的，书店摆了一套这个，显得店里多有人文气息，我就买下来了，书店的老板很惊诧，哈哈～～～～但是不知道是不是修订的，里面竟然把神圣罗马帝国翻译成“候雷　 若曼恩　 派尔”。。。
