特彆好。的確是適閤孩子的讀物：英語用詞相對不艱澀，情節設置得雖然沒跌宕起伏卻不失豐富有趣，寓教於樂，非常健康 :)))。人物也有其成長（或因經曆而産生想法上的改變），避免瞭兒童文學常見的人物性格扁平化問題：“At that moment, he, Theo, decided that he wanted to be a great judge, just like his hero up there on the bench. A judge who knew the law inside and out and believed in fairness, but, more importantly, a judge who could make the tough decision."

评分大概因為給孩子看的，因此把法庭審判流程介紹的非常詳細，倒也是給我補瞭課。描述的太仔細，所以節奏很慢，但還滿好看的，但沒想到結尾並不是結束……原來美國人是靠這樣來讓讀者一本接一本的買書的呀！[劇透：Theo發現瞭一位隱藏的證人從而組織瞭一場誤判的謀殺案] 20170925
