Gordon's book is a very helpful guide for the latin epigrapher. It has numerous latin inscriptions and corresponding translations in english with extensive notes concerning certain problem points of the latin text. The appendix has a very helpful guide to locating problem translations and is easily cross-referenced for user ease. All in all an extremely useful and helpful guide for either the first time translator or the verteran epigrapher.
