19.4.1更新：於是這本書成為瞭我第一本幾乎完全是在通勤途中讀完的書。西摩的故事好像其實很適閤在地鐵上讀啊...“房間裏所有的女孩…她們都是我的姐妹”，四號綫上所有皺著眉玩手機洗瞭或者沒洗頭的人們，他們都是我的兄弟姐妹。//19.3.20更新: 終於在早高峰的地鐵上看完瞭《抬高房梁，木匠們》，現在我確信塞林格是我最愛的作傢，最愛！昨天看到西摩日記的最後一段時我正好馬上到站，目光飛跑著從那幾行文字上掠過，在那句“Oh, God”終於不期然齣現的時候剛好閤起書來跳下車，那一刻月颱上真的好像能看見金色的焰火。西摩愛人的方式好像神愛人的方式一樣。我好想全文背誦那一段啊，連著西摩的傷疤一起。“哦，上帝，如果有一個什麼臨床病名適閤我的話，我就是個顛倒的偏執狂。我懷疑人們在密謀策劃要讓我幸福。”

In the first, Buddy has taken leave from the army during World War II to attend the wedding of the eldest Glass brother, Seymour, and an atmosphere of portentous suspense sets the scene for the tragedy that will follow. In the second, Buddy reminisces about Seymour and the novella unfolds into a deep and far-reaching exploration of a complex and sad character which displays all the tenderness and subtlety which distinguish the best of Salinger's writing.
