评分4/100 小说里的剧情补充还是非常详细，非常动人的，虽然这个游戏小说化必然会有牵强附会的地方 但是这并不是一本简单的小说 加上读的英文版 翻译也就算中上，自然不如日语原版好，不过我想如果有时间，我就把它慢慢翻译了吧，2013年寒假最主要看的书。过几天写个短评以免忘记吧——游戏本身的异常简洁和小说的异常丰满是完全两种风格，但是却也相映成趣。我永远也忘不了我拿起手柄，在电视屏幕中握住她的手时，那跨越屏幕的触感让我热泪盈眶。For Yorda and ICO, for myself.

评分While the creative liberties taken on fleshing out the initially mininalistic world of Ico were both bold and highly entertaining, the dialogue and stylistic approach often felt so cliched-RPG-esque-corny it became painful to read. If I weren't such a Miyabe fanboy I would've handed this book a poor rating in the bat of an eye.
