伊麗莎白·斯特勞特 (Elizabeth Strout)

美國當代作傢。1956年齣生於緬因州波特蘭市，大學畢業後開始文學創作。1998年，齣版長篇處女作《艾米與伊莎貝爾》，獲《洛杉磯時報》最佳首作奬及《芝加哥論壇報》中心文學奬，並入選橘子奬短名單及筆會/福剋納奬，在文壇奠定瞭堅實的口碑。2006年齣版《與我同在》，登上全美暢銷榜，入選美國獨立書商協會選書。

We meet her stoic husband, bound to her in a marriage both broken and strong, and her own son, tyrannised by Olive's overbearing sensitivities. The reader comes away, amazed by this author's ability to conjure this formidable heroine and her deep humanity that infiltrates every page.
