约翰·比奈尔

（John P. J. Pinel）

《生物心理学》的作者，在蒙特利尔的麦吉尔大学获得博士学位，在麻省理工学院短期工作后取得温哥华英属哥伦比亚大学教员职位，目前他是该学校的荣誉退休教授。比奈尔教授是一名备受赞誉的教师，也是200多篇科学论文的作者。然而，他觉得《生物心理学》才是他与职业生涯相关的主要成就：“它将与我职业有关的所有挚爱：学生、教学、写作和研究都联系在一起。”

比奈尔把他的许多成就归功于他的妻子——玛吉（Maggie）。她在不同的时期分别是专业的艺术家、设计师和私人教练。多年来，他们在很多项目上都有合作，《生物心理学》中高质量的插图在很大程度上得益于她的专业和努力。

杨莉

现任华南师范大学心理学院及脑科学研究院教授，博导。中国心理学会生理心理学分会委员，广东省脑发育与脑疾病防治学会常务理事，广东省神经科学学会理事。早年师从华东师范大学周绍慈教授，于1991年、1995年分别获得神经生物学硕士和博士学位，之后留校任教。1998~2013年先后在美国南伊利诺大学医学院和贝勒医学院从事神经退变性疾病，尤其是阿尔茨海默症的研究。目前研究兴趣包括探讨阿尔茨海默症的发病机理及治疗靶点、社会行为及情绪的神经基础等。
