《庄子》又称《南华经》，是道家经
典之一，由战国时期哲学家庄子
及其后学所著。全书包括内篇7
篇、外篇15篇、杂篇11篇，一共
33篇。
庄子在本书中继承和发展了老子
关于“道法自然”的观点，把“道”
作为世界的本源，认为“道”是自
足的和永恒的，事物之间的差别
只是相对的。与这种宇宙观相适
应，庄子提倡“自然无为”的人生
观，主张保持个人身心自由，追求
一种无拘无束、天人合一的精神
境界。
本书以郭庆藩的《庄子集释》为底
本进行校点和今译，英译借鉴了现
有的各种英文全译本和选译本，是
目前最新的《庄子》英文全译本。
