評分This feels like less a memoir about the author's mother, and rather more like a book report on Winnicott's work. Far too many quotations, which don't mesh with the graphic novel form that well. I find Fun Home a lot more readable and moving.

比fun home比更加壓抑瞭 從父親到母親 也從James Joyce到瞭Virginia Woolf 還有貫徹全書的Winnicott psychoanalysis 抽絲剝繭近乎強迫癥般地分析和rationalize自己和母親疏離的關係...
评分一部通過精神分析迴訪自己和母親的關係的細膩探求，從頭到尾沒有一點cheesy，認真嚴肅，誠懇執著。從不知道漫畫居然是如此好用的討論潛意識的工具，Bechdel在漫畫中糾纏瞭大量的夢境、迴憶、想象、現實和引用，有一些高度抽象又極其直觀的畫麵，令人簡直拍案叫好。
