3.5 远不及上一本Fun Home，同样大量的文本援引，这次都集中在精神分析/伍尔夫上，大段大段引用的弗洛伊德/Winnicott降低了阅读体验。Fun Home是在对亡父及相关文学的探索中了解自己，这次是在精神分析自己的过程中理解母亲，可惜母亲并非是个鲜明的形象，加之母女关系中的疏离又让这些探索显得无的放矢。PS全部大写的书真的就是耍流氓

This feels like less a memoir about the author's mother, and rather more like a book report on Winnicott's work. Far too many quotations, which don't mesh with the graphic novel form that well. I find Fun Home a lot more readable and moving.

可能是没有完全懂，感觉内容很学术，可读性稍微没有想象的那么强。但确实学到很多，比如关于依赖，关于intimacy，关于家庭背景（抑郁，暴力，性向，职业）对人深远的影响，和成长过程中与母体分离的意义。如果想学，看一遍是不够的。书很meta，但诚恳，有很多穿插其中的梦境与...
