很喜欢里面的这句话：What is economics? I do not pose this question because it is important for me to put something into your heads that is not there, but rather to remove something that already is there.

A.Rubinstein不是个很严肃的思考者，千万不要指望他在任何social issue上能提出任何有建设性的观点。他有时候能提出一些有趣的问题，但这些问题只要IQ a little bit above avg.的知识分子都会注意到。同时，A.R.的论证逻辑非常碎片化（希望他的paper不是这样！），他常常会非常不满经济学和现实的脱节/不符，并表示非常沮丧和失望；但下一段他马上就会说经济学有那些简单有趣的模型就足够吸引人了。总的来说这本书不太值得一看，关于经济学知识的部分非常confusing，显然不能做intro；关于他个人观点那部分，看Econometrica那篇dilemma of economist theorists就足够了。

作者：[以]阿里尔·鲁宾斯坦（Ariel Rubinstein），美国纽约大学、以色列特拉维夫大学经济学教授，纳什获奖前后十几年在普林斯顿大学任教。世界计量经济学会前主席，在经济学诸多领域均有巨大贡献，尤以博弈论、有限理性研究最为出色，是当代博弈论“四君子”之一。其《博弈论教程》(1994，与马丁·奥斯本合著)已成为博弈论的经典教材。
