畫風沿襲著Marjane Satrapi，但這部有其獨特的韻味（在於設計元素的運用上），而主題又是關於沒有意義的戰爭，重復重復一再重復，在這樣的大背景下卻是最脆弱的平民展現齣人類最光輝的一麵。話說小姑娘的記憶力很強啊。

比起Persepolis,個人更喜歡這一本，聚焦戰爭中一棟樓裏居民的一個時刻，更加真實與無奈。另外畫麵錶現力很好，畫風也活潑生動，作者溫柔得用孩子的視角軟化瞭戰爭的血腥殘酷

When Zeina was born, the civil war in Lebanon had been going on for six years, so it's just a normal part of life for her and her parents and little brother. The city of Beirut is cut in two by bricks and sandbags, threatened by snipers and shelling. East Beirut is for Christians, and West Beirut is for Muslims.
