詩一般的修辭手法，兒子隨老子都帶有強大的文藝基因，可詭計運用不太理想，日記敘述放在當下已不新鮮，算是先行者之一，但解答缺乏意外性，遜色於《死亡之殼》。

好強大的手記！凶手很容易看破（手法不容易）但即便看破瞭也隻會是更睏惑而已....不過還是略低於預期，結尾能再逆轉一下就好瞭

父親對兒子的感情描寫的細緻入微，手記運用的還不錯。

如果單論情節的復雜性和凶手的意外性,這部作品最多隻能算是中等之作.但作者的心理推導能力實在是太厲害瞭,這一點已經在Thou shell of death中領教過瞭,前麵的日記部分看似覺得有點枯燥,推進速度也遠不如後半段,但很多伏綫就在日記裏,最後凶手的欲情故縱,也是心理戰的勝利.
