看作者的名字，還以為是日本人，但又有點不像。打開書來看，才知道作者是猶太人，只是名字譯得怪怪的。這本書的中文版在2004年推出，原著卻是在70年前（1935年）寫成的，是次再版是因為作者剛作出修潤，而中文版便趁此推出譯本。 有人看到歷史書便頭痛，因為歷史書多是沉悶的...
