這書的編排與接受真叫個“傲慢與偏見”。作者想（或試圖）打破的偏見（古典/其它），他自己也許都習而不察的偏見（如對歐陸，尤其法國實踐的選擇性無視），以及部分讀者接受的偏見。當然瞭，同屬偏見，吃相差彆還是不要太大。

討厭他夾生的理論話語和乾癟的英文，不過Nicholas Cook此書最大的特點還是“荒誕派”的理論化，全然不顧歷史事實。浪費我時間的一本書。
