第三次看。六十年代的H引用了很多英美的实证研究。最欣赏的是他勾连社会各个层面的能力，私法、产权的界定、出版业内部的结构、文化产品的商业化、政党组织。这一部分对于目前的社会学研究也是最有参照价值的。比如网络媒体的发展，与社会治理技术之间的互动关系。特有批判性的那些段落反倒不那么喜欢了。他把两段历史放在一起比较，好像完全没意识到测量的东西已经是不同的了。

看到最后一页，一个不小心，把之前辛苦做的读书笔记全删了。难道上天要让我上课的时候再细读一次么。好吧。public sphere，之于中国好陌生啊，沙龙和茶馆可相提并论么？封建尾巴，国家王权退却，市民空间（商业、劳动、家庭）兴起，后又经现代化的过程，公与私领域互侵，及至福利国家，似乎以公权获胜为结局，大众传媒操作舆论，使得传统定义的public opinion消失，私人的发声需通过新形成的利益集团间的博弈体现。政治以非政治的方式延续。个中提到英国律师advocacy让位于利益集团和党派政治的斗争，兼具universality和rationality的真正的public opinion在议会中丧失。想起何师说的：律师本来就不是为了利益，而是公益的。应该回到本初。
