Bazin addresses such significant subjects as film adaptation, CinemaScope, and religious cinema, such prominent filmmakers as Rossellini, Eisentein, Pagnol, and Capra, and well-known films including La Strada, Citizen Kane, Scarface, and The Bridge on the River Kwai.
