花瞭兩個月時間纔啃完，對我來說生詞太多瞭。貝林教授在書中引用瞭大量18世紀各種政治傢的話，強調革命的思想意識變化，最終指齣美國革命理論是一個推陳齣新的過程，依托英國特殊的自由傳統和殖民地獨特的生活情形，創造瞭一個嶄新的理論。
