评分Nothing grand like war and peace, but full of truth about the human race. Suffering is naturally repelling, but Dostoevsky is one of the few who unearthed the real beauty and nobility through suffering, without the faintest trace of hypocrisy, and with both heart and intellect. Tolstoy is rather shallow in comparison.
