This enchanting novel tells the story of seventeen-year-old Cassandra and her unusual family who live in not-so-genteel poverty in a ramshackle old English castle. 像不像奥斯丁，当然，故事的情节设置让人不断想起《傲慢与偏见》。和奥斯丁不同的是，《我的秘密城堡》一点也不讽刺，充满小女孩浪漫瑰丽的想象与乐观精神。女性之间的友爱尤其让人感动，即使继母与续女之间也可以平和的谈论是否要离开文思枯竭不能养家的爸爸这样的话题。结尾...
