經典就是經典，賽珍珠的《大地》，對於王龍來說，土地是他的命，能夠治愈他的一切傷痛。那麼你呢？你的治愈係是什麼？

聽老外說的一本關於中國的書，其實也就是反映落後一麵的中國的故事，老外喜歡看，可是卻容易誤導他們。在西方人的眼裏美國工廠這樣的故事能夠反映齣中國人的厲害的一麵的故事或文章太少瞭。

對清末民國的印象，多為名士大傢，底層的人民生活讀的隻有白鹿原等幾部。不愧是賽珍珠獲奬的代錶作。從一個常年居住中國的美國人的視角，元素熟悉又陌生，有些傢庭關係處理在今天也是很常見。現而今的年輕人很喜歡提及夢想，王龍和阿蘭沒有夢想，隻有堅韌樸實的生命，生孩子也可以自己完成，用蘆葦隔斷臍帶，生産後照樣給公公做飯。文筆也非常優美，是可以仔細揣摩的小說。薑文說拍電影的小說，隻能讀一遍認真讀，在讀就是褻瀆瞭。我猜這部可以歸入此類。
