Many people set out to achieve a big dream - such as starting a business, changing careers, finishing college or writing a book - but they don't succeed and the dream fizzles away. In many cases, these people have talent and expertise (such as deep knowledge of the business or career they are interested in) that would seemingly give them an advantage in realizing their dream. But, talent and expertise related to the particular dream - which the authors call "microskills" - are not sufficient to sustain people's efforts to achieve their dreams. "Dreamcrafting" teaches the "macroskills" - aspiration, motivation, projection, inclusion and application - people need to make their dreams come true. It shows how to define the Big Dream, and overcome internal and external obstacles.
