找到剧本和2017年复排版AIA(ntlive)对照着看。新的英国国家剧院版把剧本下卷的场次顺序重新编排了，不过觉得还是剧本的顺序更合理一些。已经把HBO电视剧、新排的NT版和原著全部撸了一遍，还是不敢说看懂了这个戏。美国戏剧的里程碑，一个时代的生动印记，值得反复地读。

OH MY GOD

"souls of these departed joined hands, clasped ankles, and formed a web, a great net of souls, and the souls were three-atom oxygen molecules, of the stuff of ozone, and the outer rim absorbed them, and was repaired. Nothing’s lost forever. In this world, there is a kind of painful progress. Longing for what we’ve left behind, and dreaming ahead."

This play might be the truest and most intelligent portrayal of metropolitan American life under political and religious influence in the last ten years of the 20th century. I used to think that the millennium is something that everyone hopes for; at least that's consistent with the faded memory that I have, but it's just like any other year.
