Very well-written and entertaining!
评分寫得很真切，很值得讀，作者在中國吃瞭那麼多苦依然能客觀的看中國，看普通的中國人，點贊。
评分作為一個在中國大陸工作瞭十六年的花街投資者，Tim Clissold懷著極大的誠意與善意記述瞭他接觸的人和事。他熱愛中文，請人刻過一方印，上書“落紅不是無情物，化作春泥更護花”；他不無敬佩的描寫中國人的聰明狡猾，彪悍現實，以及野心勃勃；他親眼目睹十幾年來中國的巨大改變，並心懷敬意；他深味這個國傢的眾多不足與無奈，卻對未來充滿信心。在本書的結尾，他寫道：“如果通過此書的創作，能令中國人看上去不是那麼的神秘可怕，而是和我們一樣有缺點卻又美麗的人類，那麼我之前所經曆的一切麻煩都很值得。”
评分一本紀實性的'小說', 講瞭風險投資資本在中國的最早幾年. 有趣的是我曾經是其中的一員, 我甚至認識書中的某人. 可惜的是我們做的並不成功, 也印證瞭作者的觀點. 第一次讀一本書時如此的感同身受...
