Ten-year-old Annemarie Johansen and her best friend Ellen Rosen often think of life before the war. It's now 1943 and their life in Copenhagen is filled with school, food shortages, and the Nazi soldiers marching through town. Kirsti太太太逗了，我最喜欢的小朋友名单里绝对是前几名啊~~~然后我觉得她这样的性格一定是遗传自她妈，两个一唱一和活宝啊~~~虽然是短短130多页的故事，但看得人激情澎湃一会儿哭一会儿笑的。这个故事有点联想起The Book Thief,同样也是帮助犹太人逃离德军追捕的故事，地点在丹麦。而故事里面发生的大部分人物事件基本上都有原型，这点让我更加感动~

加入WSE的第三个月第三本书，虽说是为了学英语看的，主角还是个小朋友，却忍不住熬夜看完了结局，故事可读性还是很强的，二战背景，也有人性描写。
