喜歡這本書不一樣的結構：兩條平行綫，故事中嵌套另一個故事~Sal和爺爺奶奶穿越瞭中央大平原，經過總統山和黃石公園，從俄亥俄州到愛達荷州，橫跨瞭美國的7個州，萬裏尋母，旅途中她給爺爺奶奶講述朋友菲比的故事。主題依然是傢庭、親情、愛情、友誼、分離、成長……但怎麼寫，如何穿插，如何用迴憶和景色和情緒鋪墊，纔是一本書能否吸引人的關鍵。
