2019.07.13 看完《巴黎评论》开始尝试读现当代小说。一口气读完第一本Chandler，特地选择原版因而无须依赖翻译的文笔和理解可以直接阅读作者的风格which is important to a fiction。读毕感受是我依然不太喜欢过于叙事性的小说和过于情感化的侦探/悬疑/推理小说，尤其像这样侦探自己与案件有着千丝万缕联系的。读完理解了人生/人性在我心中并不是对一本侦探小说的最佳赞美，技术推理更重要。所以看到最后我一脸懵逼想这就结束了么？是我英文阅读有障碍么？以此为评判标准，福尔摩斯在我心中目前无挑战者。 BUT，Chandler的语言风格倒是很喜欢，简洁干脆，用词简单，偶尔一笔带过冷静的幽默。

以侦探小说的标准，马洛大部分时间都没有在好好侦破案件，大部分时间他都在怼天怼地，大部分时间他被人怼……故事也是迷之节奏，不过呢，人物塑造得不错，而且实在会写，各种白描，对白，简直棒的不行……什么我的脑子一团浆糊就像粘蝇纸上的苍蝇什么的神来之笔超多。
