喜歡Rosenbaum永遠humble的寫作風格，對讀者對電影觀眾的尊重，即使是寫如此批判性的關於misunderstanding的話題也能在犀利的同時保持溫柔。在美國電影文化形成的主流敘事裏指齣瞭幾個關鍵性的誤解。不談主義不甩術語，提到一個好像有約定俗成含義的概念的時候還要先說齣自己的定義（比如 independent film，national cinema）的影評人真是太可愛。
