通过作者的梳理，我第一次完整了解到毛主席思想形成的整个脉络和历程。可以说虽然毛泽东思想的形成过程中受到了中国传统政治文化、无政府主义、民粹主义、马克思列宁主义的影响，但其精髓却是毛主席根据中国实际情况，在多年革命中因地制宜后逐渐磨练出的中国特色。同时通过作者鞭辟入里的剖析，也让我了解到了毛主义中核心的哲理，诸如重视农民的自发性与先进性、后发优势、坚信意志的力量、以及通过意识来划分阶级等所谓的"马列主义异端"为什么能够助力我党取得人类历史上最伟大的革命胜利。不过也诚如作者在本书后半部分强调的，同样也正是这些思想一旦脱离了基础客观发展规律，在建国土改和工业化成功之后反而成为禁锢共和国发展的"枷锁"，最终在历史局限中酿成了大跃进与文革悲剧。感谢作者的客观公正为我们年轻一代还原了一个真实的毛主席!
