这是一本以西式插花为案例的插花书籍。优点在于对于初学者有插花用具的实物图片介绍，一目了然。也有对花器的宽容，瓶瓶罐罐都可以，比日式插花容易让人接受。对花材的分类也很浅显易懂，叶、主花、配花和点缀，即便有点不常见，眼前也能浮现出见过的各种花花草草，心里开始给它们分类了。这本书就是想让花不拘一格的走进我们的生活。
