乍看是女權主義宣言，實隻是女性職場手冊。討論兩性平等問題，以"外部因素已是老生長談"為由而隻談"如何從我做起"是遠遠不夠的。Sandberg的眼界局限在她的圈子，隻看到women in the workplace，卻沒有看到women who struggle to make ends meet，對後者而言，選擇不是問題，問題是沒有選擇，雖然作者態度誠懇，但這種"你不齣色是因為你還不夠努力"的理論，並不適用於此。然而，若僅把此書看作單純的職場生存指南，這位前榖歌VP、現臉書COO的建議還是很有實用價值的。作者告訴職場女性，雖然女權主義理想豐滿，但男權社會現實骨感，大環境改革不可一蹴而就，想獲得平等待遇，與其抱有不切實際的幻想，不如學幾招來應對當下的問題。這種識時務的態度，倒是非常坦白和實在。
