我对Eliot的这部小说有些失望。。。被误会又收养小孩的戏码跟悲惨世界很像，隐瞒妻子另觅新欢的故事和简爱很像，做坏事惨死的路数跟卡拉马左夫兄弟很像。。。到头来这个不痛不痒的happy ending是要表达什么呢？
