傑夫裏•迪弗

一九五〇年齣生於芝加哥，十一歲時寫齣瞭他的第一本小說，從此筆耕不輟。迪弗畢業於密蘇裏大學新聞係，後進入福德漢姆法學院研修法律。在法律界實踐瞭一段時間後，他在華爾街一傢大律師事務所開始瞭律師生涯。他興趣廣泛，曾自己寫歌唱歌，進行巡演，也曾當過雜誌社記者。與此同時， 他開始發展自己真正的興趣：寫懸疑小說。一九九〇年起，迪弗成為一名全職作傢。

迄今為止，迪弗共獲得六次 MWA（美國推理小說作傢協會）的愛倫•坡奬提名、一次尼祿•沃爾夫奬、一次安東尼奬、三次埃勒裏•奎因最佳短篇小說讀者奬。迪弗的小說被翻譯成三十五種 語言，多次登上世界各地的暢銷書排行榜。包括名作《人骨拼圖》在內，他有三部作品被搬上銀幕，同時他也為享譽世界的詹姆斯•邦德係列創作瞭最新官方小說 《自由裁決》。
