Richard Wright grew up in the woods of Mississippi amid poverty, hunger, fear, and hatred. He lied, stole, and raged at those around him; at six he was a "drunkard," hanging about in taverns. 评分美国＂少数民族＂的无助的真实写照，因为孤立无援，那份自强不息更值得尊敬。
评分耶鲁大学开放课程里面推荐的，记得当时去广州购书中心买书，在Newpage里面，当时也没有特地地要去买这本书。只是发现了之后很兴奋。所以120大洋就这样去了。不过这本书比较闷，基本没有发现抓住你兴趣的部分。很神奇地我就把它读完了。
