給四星是因為這是第一本丁丁曆險記，也因為丁丁是童年的美好迴憶。劇情有很多諷刺蘇聯的地方，總的來說隻能是中等之作。

早期是比較純粹的兒童嚮讀物，但肩負著政治的任務，情節簡單內容也充滿成見和錯誤（「私營的賓館」）。繪畫比較粗劣，可是風格已經顯現齣瞭。很可惜，蘇聯題材很有趣，如果放在後期畫本可以是個很有發揮空間的有趣作品。丁丁和白雪有些舉動很討厭，非常話癆且無聊；留辮子的「中國酷吏」更是各種意義上的大錯特錯，充滿時代特色。總而言之，中國沒有引進這一本雖然是齣於政治原因，但實際上這一本的趣味和格調也尤低。沒看時以為是什麼瞭不得的禁書，看完發現確實可看可不看。

評分☆☆☆☆☆

丁丁的奠基之作，政治意味非常的濃烈——對蘇聯充滿瞭成見。所以作者稱之為「年輕時的罪過」。不過更為可笑的是，時隔半個多世紀（80年代及2000年）中共還無法接受這部作品——大陸齣版的丁丁係列都沒有這一步。當道之迂腐，由此可見一斑。
