Ocean's 11 in renaissance Italy, the setting reminds me of that Woody Allen joke 'my brother beat me,my sister beat my brother,my parents beat us,the neighbors beat them,the people down stairs beat our floor, the people in next building beat our building...' thief based pyramid!

中规中矩，偶有惊喜。场景描写和插叙笔墨太多，细节的泛滥也影响了阅读的流畅。不过，Locke和Jean这两个人物都好棒啊，下一部请你们在一起吧！（Michael Page的有声书演绎出神入化）

大概相当于Dresden Files 的那种级别。故事轻松，文笔流畅，人物讨喜，偶尔搞笑，偶尔黑暗，但最终没啥深度的奇幻小说。打算继续看第二册。

结构方面，文句修饰太过，加上跳跃式叙述，影响阅读连贯性。情节方面，这类骗局小说，很容易变成作者自编自演，这本就有点这种破绽，所有配角、反派甚至情节，都为主角服务，例如法师设定太过强大，以致最後情节发展，失去可信度。
