作者簡介
斯各特·林奇1978年齣生於美國明尼蘇達州。現為紙上角色扮演遊戲（Role-Playing Games）的特約作傢和受過正式訓練的消防隊員，他做過五花八門的工作：洗碗工、餐廳服務生、設計網頁、廣告文字、辦公室管理員、外燴廚師等。目前他正進行極具野心的“五年閱讀計劃”，預備在五年內讀完所有獲雨果奬、星雲奬和世界奇幻大奬的得奬作品。

拿到书时对于把书归于青少年文学还有点耿耿于怀，认为是国内出版业封建势力压迫所致。看完后觉得。。。。还真是青少年文学呀，情节简单过RPG游戏，结尾更是像RPG一样，配角死光光，主角永流传（头号马仔幸存）。不过作者的文笔和马骁同学的翻译都还上佳，值得在回家的地铁上打...

评分中規中矩，偶有驚喜。場景描寫和插敘筆墨太多，細節的泛濫也影響瞭閱讀的流暢。不過，Locke和Jean這兩個人物都好棒啊，下一部請你們在一起吧！（Michael Page的有聲書演繹齣神入化）
